F.A.Q.

Who?
I have a turntable and a nice record collection, mostly LP's from the 60's & early 70's.

What?
My aim is to make rare stuff (in glorious mono or sometimes stereo) publicly available again with the best possible sound quality.

Requests?
Generally, no. I select my projects very critically. Vinyl condition is everything. I tend not to work with records that are in less than pristine condition.

Donations?
Get outta here!

Well Professor you did it again .... a really BIG Smile on my face because of your successful efforts on Easter Everywhere (in STEREO).
I've heard of JWB rips but never seem to find them but in your hands I know that the results are a "silk purse" ! ...Cheers and thanks again.

Yr treatment of the Elevators is absolutely fantastic...Psychedelic Sounds, now Easter! I'm appreciative of the rips that exist, but if Bull showed up too...hoo boy!

This is such an important album, every tweak that improves earlier flaws is nearly landmark. Thanks for the effort Professor.

Wonderful - the sound the band deserves.

Very nice.
My first thought is how much clearer the instruments sound on Slip Inside This House. You can really hear the difference.
Thanks

Thanks, especially for the stereo "Slip Inside." The previous "Audiophile" rip from circa 2015 is top notch, but they opted for a mono "Slip Inside"

JWB said...

There is no such thing as a stereo "Slip Inside". It is mono, as the notes indicate.

I'm sorry but I'm too stupid apparently to figure out how to download the albums from this fine website. If someone wants to drop me a line and explain I'd be grateful. aperer@gmail.com

Gave this a listen on Spotify and like the material, but it was too tiny-sounding in streaming form. This is much better. Much thanks PS!
