  8. Thanks so much for this Prof! I too thought the Early Years version was disappointing so it's good to know someone has put in the time to give this the magic it deserves.

  22. Thanks for this. I already had Harvested 010 Rev B so I wasn't expecting much, but you've given me a pleasant surprise. Not only a nicer sounding remaster but also an alternate CWTAE that was completely unknown to me. Wow!

  26. I downloaded this one, after decades of disappointing releases anywhere, and love what you have done. It is simply close to perfect audio. What a great concert. What an audio! Probably will never listen to Meddle and companies again. Thank you very much Prof.

  28. Fantastic; I listened again just last night. Thanks for all the effort that went into this.

  33. Hello Prof! Got Pompeii on the way as I type - had the DVD for years, wanted a good non-visual version - but wanted to give you a more general word of thanks: you've saved me possibly thousands of your American dollars in first press mono Zappa and Stooges and Blue Cheer and other little goodies as well. Maximum quality for the sources, maximum care put into the rips, maximum kindness in sharing them with the world. Thank you so much! Cheers from Somerset, UK

  34. I've long thought exactly as you regarding this as Floyd's best moment. Thank you for this. While on a cruise-excursion tour of the site, I actually ditched the guided group to run to the amphitheatre. It wasn't on the official itinerary because it was further away and I risked missing the bus back to the ship, which would have left without me, but I simply had to go there.

  35. Thank you, professor. The sound is outstanding and I've been enjoying the heck out of this. Your work is stellar!

  36. Thank you. I saw the film in a cinema in South London sometime around 1974/75 and (as a non-committed Floyd Fan at the time) fell in love with the music. I also have been unsatisfied with the available recordings so really appreciate your hard work on this. And appreciate even more your inspirational generosity!

  37. This is brilliant! Thank you very much! IDK how I stumbled upon this, but I love that sound quality!

  38. Thank you very much for this. Neonknight just put up the 1981 UK VHS audio with the mono mix on Yeeshkul!, which is quite different in a number of places. I'm guessing it's from the pre-1974 edit but I've never heard it before.

  39. The intro of this lp is one of my favorite bits. Looking forward to the PStoned magic on this one :)

    many thanks!

  40. Thank you, great live show I've never heard before.

  41. Just skimmed through this ... great EQ choices. You took this source from gratingly bright and borderline unlistenable to what may be my preferred version. Thank you!

  42. Thank you for this. I remember watching this in the movies in 1973. Yes, I am that old.

  56. Brilliant job. If there is one definitive document of Pink Floyd in this period, it's this one. And your job sorting out the EQ and the phase issues is flawless. Me and my neighbours are going to enjoy this tonight.

  57. Could I have more detailed about the alternate version of Careful With That Axe Eugene, please ?
Wasn't this track on the Early Years box set ?
It did not sound like an alternate take; rather an alternate mix
Did you remix or remaster it ?

  64. This is great. I tinkered with the 2016 mix which is unbearable but wasn't that happy with it. Thank you again for all of the hard work.

  65. I was eager to listen to Pompeii yesterday! Thank you.

  66. This is actually best version of any Pink Floyd made music. The restoration gives Pompeii live the best audio it could have got, even with the best engineers from international companies. Try to listen to the new Dark side of the moon 2023 version, Animals one and then listen to this. This is way way forward to any remake. I can't wait for a Dark side of the moon remastered. In Italy we had a live which is iconic for us like this Pompeii is iconic for any PF fan around the world. It's called De andrè live with PFM. It's worth a remake. It can be found on Qobuz, but it's really far from this quality and vinyls of half of the concert cost around 40€, they're little rare.

  69. It's really great, thanks a lot. Never suspected that an official release could be improved upon this much.

  70. I had assumed that Harvested's Rev B would be the best edition of this, but you have outdone yourself yet again. You've tamed the ear-piercing highs and the funky phasing of the Early Years mix, making it the best version that we're likely to ever hear. Thank you!
