  1. This looks cool! BTW...the correct title is "How Do You Do It". There is an "it" at the end.

  3. Ok, hearing Love Me Do in true stereo now. This I just can't believe. Thank you again Prof.

Out of curiosity, why did you use a boot version of One After 909 instead of the Anthology one?

    1. Bootleg = stereo, Anthology = mono

  14. Yet again you provide something pretty amazing that the record companies don't. This is crazy to think this is now possible and executed so well. Much appreciated. I hope you keep working with this audio tool and doing these mixes.

  15. Prof, You've always done amazing work which always resulted in what become my "go to versions" but this is some totally different. You've turned water into wine on this one ... Thanks for providing fresh ears to an old favorite.

  16. After downloading I burnt this on CDr and - wow, it's really amazing. Will be my go-to version from now on. You just threw your hat in the ring for the official 60yr re-release!

  17. Thank you so much, it's simply perfect!

  18. So glad you did that 11th hour upgrade on some of the bonus cuts. The Anthology versions often compromised because they used masters from the abandoned 1980s Sessions project which were subject to all kinds of pointless editing decisions. Anyway this is remarkable and, dare I say, definitive. Hats off.

    1. It's amazing how careless Apple can be. Even the recent Let It Be box set is full of mastering errors and poor decisions!

  55. Great job-cleared up those background vocals and guitars.Didn't realize this album needed so much help until hearing your version.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Terrific as usual. Always impeccable attention to detail. I usually don't listen to the stereo versions (especially the early albums) but this may change. This mix sounds so fresh and present, well done Professor. Thanks.

  67. Thank you.....excited to hear this after the glowing reviews above.

  68. This is really unbelievable!
In the years long quest to find the definitive versions of the Beatles' albums, and comparing this to (very good) vinyl rips of the original German Stereo and the 2014 Mono (my two go-tos), this is both the best and most natural sounding.
    Absoltuely astounding!

  69. I was 12 when this was released in the US and started to listen to "rock" radio shortly beforehand. By then actual rock & roll had been mostly replaced with pop and novelty stuff. Soul was allowed to remain in some form. The Beatles were the first real rock'n'roll band I had ever heard at any length. Thank you much!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Thank you very much for this!

    ReplyDelete
  71. It's a dream come true to hear in stereo with this quality "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You" The entire album is amazing in True Stereo. Thank you very much Prof. Stoned.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Sounds good. Thanks.

  73. All I can say is amazing. Stereo versions of songs I've only heard in Mono or reprocessed stereo... incredible. I've listened to all the tracks on my Bose 2.1 computer set up, wonderful to the album balanced for the first time. Now ( sorry for this) will use audition to make quad 4.0 of the wholw album and play it on my audio system, because I'm a surround freak. Will let you know. But for now .. No words apart from many many thanks Prof.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Giving it a listen on the main system, this is a beauty! Thank you so much for your work!

    ReplyDelete
  75. wow! an amazing production - thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Wow. I can't thank you enough, Professor. This is my favorite Beatles album for childhood reasons and I'm in a loss of words here.
I have a question: would you, if being provided with them, add the true single versions of Please Please Me and Ask Me Why? I say this because they're drastically devoid of the reverb added to the alvum versions, both mono and stereo, but anyways, thank you so much! This and the other Beatles remixes are truly a work of art, and love for the music as originally presented.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Thank you! I appreciate all your efforts bringing these classic recordings to life.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Thank you deeply from Mississippi!!!❤️
