Thanks! I had abysmal needledrop of mono LP before and was assumed it was fold.. It seems it's not so. Didn't Fontana started to issue folds pretty early on? Same with Tangerine Dream by Kaleidoscope
The mono seem slightly different to my ears. But since this was recorded on 3-track only, the balances were pretty much already locked into those tracks. The sleeve notes indicate they were thinking in stereo...
I'd really love to hear a needle-drop of a mono pressing of the Pretty Things album 'S.F. Sorrow'. Please post if you ever find one. Many thanks for sharing so many gems
