  16. Why did you remix I Want To Hold Your Hand and This Boy if they're from 4-track?

  17. Hey Prof. - Please fast forward to Rubber Soul and Revolver. Your talents will be best served on those albums.

  20. Thanks professor! sounds great as well as please please me. Is there a lack of high frequency data when you extract instruments? Just wondering why your only offering these releases in 16/44.1. Also I was wondering if you would ever release some form of a tutorial on your vinyl transferring methods as I have many out-of-print records. You have always had the highest quality transfers as far back as I can remember!

  21. The source material was 24/44.1 so it is what it is. There is no true hirez Beatles out there (from tape to digital).

  22. I recently received the Buddy Holly & Hank Williams stereo extractions from Hit Parade. After listening to those I realized that the best extractions are only as good and the original recordings. BTW yours sound Fab!

  25. Another gem Prof. Many thanks. As a complete novice on these things myself, what criteria do you consider when starting these remixes ie that were not achieved in the originals ? Cheers.......

  28. Thanks for posting Professor.

I offer the following comment, not as a criticism of the Prof's selection, but as a guide to those not knowing the differences between the stereo and mono presentations of this album.

For me, The United Artists US mono will always be my favorite version. The mono single-tracked lead vocal on "Tell Me Why", "And I Love Her", and "If I Fell" is outstanding compared to the stereo double-tracked vocal for those songs. There's a haunting quality to Paul's single-tracked lead on "And I Love Her". Additionally, the mono chorus is double-tracked compared to the triple-tracked stereo choruses for those songs. Paul's voice gives out on the stereo version of "If I Fell" (2nd time he sings "was in vain"), whereas on the mono version his voice is clear. And lastly, the mono version of "I'll Cry Instead" is 15 seconds longer (extra chorus and verse) than the stereo version.

  29. I've never really been able to listen to the stereo versions of this album, until now. This work has got me revisiting all of these great tunes. It may be sacrilege, but I think this surpasses the mono versions. Outstanding! hmalbrt from Thailand

  31. A little late as I was on holiday, but wow! Will need to think about this further, but this could well be the best presentation of this album. Very much overlooked, especially by me, so now I'll really need to revisit it. Incredible work!

  33. Hey Prof!!! What is the update on 7/7/22 about? Did you do some adjustments or improvements to some of the tracks?

  35. "With The Beatles" was one of the first Beatles LP's I bought back in the early '70's and I couldn't believe how awful it sounded in stereo . I heard it again in stereo on the 2009 CD and it still sounded terrible , vocals stuffed on the right speaker and , as John Lennon said , they double-tracked themselves to death . I liked the mono remaster but cor blimey (as us brits say) your new remaster is the first listenable stereo version ever of this album ! Great work , look forward to hearing your other Beatles re-masters now .

  36. Even the clunkers (like Little Child) have that amazing energy. Thank you for improving this so much and addressing a crying need that Apple has so far failed to address.

  37. This is stuff I am REALLY interested in doing to some of my records that ONLY exist in vinyl and the multi masters are missing etc. Would love to work on something with you. Awesome find for me. Thanks! PS, I am looking forward to seeing what you accomplish without what The Beatles have to work with etc. Inspiring.

  40. It's such a dream to hear "She Love You" and "I'll Get You" in stereo with this quality. I love "I'll Get You" so much. The entire album is amazing in True Stereo, including the bonus material. Thank you very much Prof. Stoned

  46. You've beat Giles with your remixes, especially the "She Loves You" remix. Your remixes are more faithful overall to the spirit of the mono mixes... just with that added dimension of stereo. Really wish you would tackle Magical Mystery Tour.

  48. Your remix of "She Loves You" is easier to listen to than Giles' remix, which is great!
