  1. ooh, this looks very tasty, was just playing some of these sources last last night and looking forward to hearing your take on them. Quick question, is there a reason why you chose not to include Train Kept A Rollin'?

    1. I didn't think 4-27 or 8-31 were good enough sound quality.

  3. Oh my gawd .... funny, I was bragging about your work at my local record store (RSD) because they had the vinyl version of your remastered "Patto" on vinyl. Anyway, let me get this downloaded and dig your magic !!!

    1. I hope it doesn't disappoint, with material like this it's all always a bit of uncertainty what eventually comes out.

  10. Excellent as always. Love the restoration/remix projects. Shame about the Fillmore 4/24 show because the sound is so good except for the vocals. If I recall correctly they had Plant going through the house PA so all we're hearing is what the stage mics are picking up. I thought about isolating and boosting his vocals but I don't think there is much to work with when the band gets loud. We do have the two instrumentals you included though. Great work. Thank you. :-)

  17. Sorry to say, but this is one of the biggest disappointments to me. Not only you haven't used the best sounding versions of the shows assembled in this compilation, but also the setlist do not represent the might glory of the early Zepp IMO. Instead of EV's 1969-04-24 show, there's a genuine master copy that sounds superior to this. For 1969-04-27 there's a much better sounding version sourced from a very low gen tape (possibly master too), which has a much better fidelity and depth. Finally, I completely do not agree with someone's else statement that 1969-08-31 isn't close with the quality to other tapes represented - not only it fits with the quality, but also it's one of their best documented early shows ever, where they play their balls live !

Do us the favour and create a longer and more proper compilation !

  28. Thanks. Songs 1,2 and 4 are much more well balanced than the bootleg i own; a real improvment .For the gladsax , the sound is clearer than my other bootleg, but equalization destroys a lot of harmonics.

  29. The gladsaxe songs are better here https://www.discogs.com/fr/release/15443971-Led-Zeppelin-Live-Scandinavia-69

    1. Okay, you had me curious there... I downloaded from Soulseek.

Holy Mary... that is one brittle mess. But to each his own.

    2. I'm listening on a very high system... this help a lot to clear the sound ;)

  31. Incredible work on this wonderful compilation, Prof! Would you consider giving the demix/remastering treatment to How Many More Times and Communication Breakdown from the 1-11-69 show. The other 3 songs that you included on the compilation were so good that I can't even listen to the "Fresh Garbage" bootleg anymore. Would love to have the aforementioned tracks as "bonus songs" to round out the surviving songs from 1-11.

    1. Thanks I did work on these but HMMT is incomplete & CBD ended up not sounding good. I really wanted that tape to be the centerpiece of this collection.

  32. The TV soundboard of "Communication Breakdown" & "How Many More Times" would not be from Gladsaxe Teen Club but are from Danmarks Radio/Television TV-Byen Søborg, Gladsaxe, Denmark ("Danish TV").

  45. Howdy brother, I am a big fan of bootlegs and live shows in general. I actually just purchased a CD of the Fillmore 4/27/69 show at some weird website I just stumbled across. Was looking for the best version of this show as it is one of my favorites. Thank you for giving me an idea of what this "AI Demix" stuff sounds like. It is a new concept to me as I have gotten most of my bootlegs from about 7 years ago.

Do you think you would be able to do anything with some of the poor quality Doors music from their early days?

Either way, thanks for sharing this. I'll possibly post back to share my results from this website... acmehotdisc.com as they have a few Pink Floyd discs I may want as well.
