  7. Honest to goodness, this and your Bookends are the finest sounding S&G I have ever heard. Nothing else comes close.

  8. Thanks again, Prof. Always thought "The Dangling Conversation" was highly underrated. I got the whole bunch of Qcumbaman´s US mono rips last year but I`m sure yours will the nicest - het lekkerste!

  12. Thank you so much for this. My Dad had this album and Sounds of Silence sitting in his record collection for years. Both are mono pressings and as soon as I put this on the turntable the sound was so much different than what I had heard before. This was my introduction to true mono vinyl and it blew me away. Unfortunately, the opening track has quite the gaping gash in the groove which manages to leave a very noticeable annoyance while listening to this fantastic album.

Your rip captures that mono sound perfectly and I am so thrilled to know I have a copy that I can go to over and over. I also played your rip over the speakers for my Dad and he smiled and said, "this is how I remember it." haha. Thank you again for the hard work. Vinyl ripping is no cake-walk that is for sure! The long labor is worth the final product though. Cheers!

  14. Prof,

Any chance you might re-up the old version of this (or at least part) that included the alternate UK stereo mix of "Homeward Bound"? Thank you!

  18. I can't download this one or Sounds of Silence. It says the servers are overloaded basically, but it's been saying that for quite a while. If you could check on this or do a re-up I'd really appreciate it

  20. As good as the MoFi SACD is, this takes me back to my living room in the fall of 1966 and hearing this album for the very first time (I was born in 1976!).
