F.A.Q.
Who?
I have a turntable and a nice record collection, mostly LP's from the 60's & early 70's.
What?
My aim is to make rare stuff (in glorious mono or sometimes stereo) publicly available again with the best possible sound quality.
Requests?
Generally, no. I select my projects very critically. Vinyl condition is everything. I tend not to work with records that are in less than pristine condition.

Thanks a lot for this Dead!
I have to admit I was somewhat puzzled when the "deluxe edition" came out not too long ago and didn't include the mono mix. Makes coming across your excellent transfer a great remedy for their omission. Thanks for posting. Best, James
While the concert on the deluxe edition was fine enough, passing over the opportunity to remaster the mono mix was a huge oversight in my book. That, and claiming the remix of Aoxomoxoa and Anthem of the Sun as the original mixes for the official download is unforgivable. I had always thought better of the Dead's mastering, and they had performed fabulously up to that point. Thank you Prof for getting this mono mix to us in such premium quality. Much appreciated.
Thank you so much for this. It certainly beats the stereo version.
Yeah, my favourite Dead album !!! Thanks for such a HQ piece of music and work. Causinger
Amazing work on this. Thank you Prof!
I've always loved this album and I agree that the mono mix is the best way to hear it. Thank you.
Thank You!
Mono, glorious Mono! Thanks!
You've made my day with this one! My mono copy of this first GD album is pretty beat. I will be happy to replace it with your version. And I see Safe as Milk is up too. Great stuff! I'm still enjoying Q65 quite a bit too - new stuff for me. Thanks for all the great tunes lately! - Joaquin Antique

Thank you for all the work you put into your hobby, and for sharing it all. I need to tell you though that the links for the two Dead albums are down. Are you able to put new ones up? Would be thrilled if you do. Thanks, bro.
You've made my day! (By the way, was the single mix of 'Golden Road' the same as on the mono LP?)
Thank you, much appreciated.

This is wonderfully generous. Haven't even listened yet. Love the dedication.
This sounded splendid but haven't made an 8-track of it yet. Really appreciate you sharing this proto-psych (and even moreso, garage) gem!
