F.A.Q.
Who?
I have a turntable and a nice record collection, mostly LP's from the 60's & early 70's.
What?
My aim is to make rare stuff (in glorious mono or sometimes stereo) publicly available again with the best possible sound quality.
Requests?
Generally, no. I select my projects very critically. Vinyl condition is everything. I tend not to work with records that are in less than pristine condition.

My favourite Mothers album - big thanks for the fine mono mix. Hope Filefactory will give free slot for free users soon as I don't have a premium account now. Looking forward to this. Thanks, Yours Causinger
Thanks, nice to see you back.
Excellent! This is the best rip I've heard yet and I'm glad that you brightened it up a bit. I think this album just sounds bad because it's bad recording though. The stereo master is pretty much the same...dull and bass heavy.
Good to hear from you, J.
I'd agree with you it's not that well-recorded to begin with. But then again, the 2012 stereo remaster has pretty clean high-end, or at least better than the original LP pressings, I think.
One of my favorite FZ records. Thanks for sharing.

I was just looking for a good mono rip the other day, so thank you muchly for this Prof
Thanks for FZ and GD Professor!
Thanks for the Zappa in mono! Your rip will probably be as good as it gets!

I always thought my original mono lp (couldn't afford stereo records back then!) sounded like mud. This one is pretty nice. Perhaps my favorite Mothers record.
WOW! Thanks so much for this Prof. Stoned! Been looking forward to this for awhile. :)
as usual you make me appreciate mono more and more every day. thanks
Many thanks, Prof for another great mono rarity!!!
Shame the original mono tapes have been lost and/or misplaced. You'd think that music companies would take care of the recordings in their possession. Needless to say, this makes your vinyl transfer efforts that much more important in terms of preserving this rare mix so many thanks for your stellar efforts.

Don't know exactly what your tweaks were on this one, but they did indeed improve the sound in comparison with that of other mono drops of I've heard. Many thanks for it, professor.

Big thanks for this one. One of my favourite Zappa albums. Nice to hear it in this way... the mono does sound a little more vivid...though I did grow up with the reverby Ryko CD. Yet again another excellent effort!
Thanks for this and your hard work. What a treat!
Great! Love this album.
This is great! Thank you very much.
Thanks Prof for reviving this classic!

Thank you so much - MONO rules!
Much obliged, Prof! Can never have too much mono Zappa, and can only hope We're Only In It For the Money will show up eventually (or Hot Rats, my favorite Frank). Thank you very much!
@ReadySteady: the mono version of Money is available on the Lumpy Object Project box in great quality. My USA promo vinyl does not sound half as good.
Very fine. As usual, many thanks.
