F.A.Q.
Who? Retired sound engineer who loves music from the 60's & early 70's.
What? My aim is to make rare stuff publicly available again with the best possible sound quality.
I had issues with some tracks the first time I downloaded them, but it might have been my decompression of the .zip file that was at fault. I re-downloaded it, and it was fine the second time around. What are you playing the tracks with? WinAmp had some issues, but VLC plays them without any problems.
Hi Prof. Great stuff as always! love the Small Faces. Just wondering how your source for the 1965/66 tracks compares to the one used for the BBC disc in the 2015 Decca box?
v1.1: 12-06-2024 (Sessions #8, 11, 14, 16, 18 & 19 added, all are 100% new into circulation and were kindly provided by The Johnny Kidd Fan Club to whom we owe much!)
You can also click on the Info link on this page, but you may have to do some side scrolling to read it all. I find it's easier to download it and open it in Word (or a similar program).
